LOUISIANA DISASTER RECOVERY FOUNDATION: http://www.louisianahelp.org/haiti.html

TOGETHER, WE CAN HELP HAITI.

LDRF has partnered with trusted nonprofit organizations that have demonstrated recovery expertise and a shared commitment to ensuring equity and human dignity amidst disaster.

If you would like to designate your gift to one of our 4 on-the-ground partners, please select from the following:

The Emergency Village Project: This group of disaster recovery and urban infrastructure professionals is working to build an emergency village in Haiti that will provide housing, infrastructure and other services that constitute communities rather than camps. With major involvement of New Orleans residents, supporters and rebuilders, this group is sending a contingency to Haiti to build a model for recovery. Click here to give to the Emergency Village.

Haitian Association for Human Development (AHDH): This group has an established history of ambassadorship and is well-positioned to provide relief to those most in need. Founded in 1986 by members of New Orleans’ Haitian community, HAHD’s mission is to promote the welfare of Haitians by contributing to and instituting humanitarian programs focused on health, education and alleviating hunger in both Haiti and Louisiana.
